The Muscat family belongs to the oldest vines. They probably come from Asia. Yellow Muscat is a rather frost sensitive and late variety. That’s the reason why most of it is planted in the southern regions like Palatina. It also has high demands on the vineyard site.

Typical are fruity acidity and elegant muscat bukett with slight spiciness.
